Conservatory
A program of professional study for students continuing their academic studies on line or through a home schooled program.
The technical standard for professional dancers in ballet and contemporary dance companies is constantly increasing. Professional training programs throughout the country include a day-long program in their curriculum for those students with potential and aspirations for a professional career. In August 2011, The Florida Ballet added a Conservatory program to The Florida Ballet Training Center curriculum. The Florida Ballet Conservatory features:

Morning ballet class followed by adequate time and facilities for school work plus Training Center classes.

All classes incorporate the AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE® National Training Curriculum.

In Community Performances—Conservatory students will be featured in educational and concert performances offered to schools, senior citizen centers and civic organizations.

5-day program beginning August 20, 2012.
