Nutcracker Performances

Whether you’re seeing it again, or for the first time, The Florida Ballet’s Nutcracker will capture your imagination and transport you to a magical world of swirling snowflakes, waltzing flowers, and dancing bonbons. From the captivating dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy to the iconic snow scene, this enchanting classical ballet – set to the beloved music of Tchaikovsky – continues to enthrall audiences of all ages.

Create an annual holiday tradition with family and friends and make memories to cherish for years to come. Featuring guest artists Gretel Batista, Principal, Dance Alive National Ballet and Joseph Gatti, Artistic Director of United Ballet Theatre, along with over 100 local dancers, The Florida Ballet’s Nutcracker is sure to delight audience members of all ages.

Nutcracker in a Nutshell

"Nutcracker in a Nutshell" is a sweet, abbreviated performance designed to introduce children to ballet as a performance art. This 45-minute performance will feature select excerpts from the full-length production providing a fun-filled opportunity for families with young ones.

Class with Clara provides a chance for children ages 5-10 to experience the magic of The Nutcracker by taking a ballet class on stage with Clara and her friends! Class with Clara takes place in Lazzara Performance Hall immediately following our Friday, December 14 10:30 AM "Nutcracker in a Nutshell" performance. 

Backstage Meet & Greet

Immediately following the 2 PM Matinee Performance

Join us for an exclusive backstage tour and onstage meet and greet with guest artists and select dancers immediately following the Saturday, December 15, 2pm matinee performance. Meet and greet includes photo and autograph opportunities with the cast members including Guest Artists Gretel Batista, Principal, Dance Alive National Ballet and Joseph Gatti, Artistic Director of United Ballet Theatre.
