Riley Madeira is originally from Charlotte, North Carolina. She began her training with the Charlotte Ballet at the age of 11 under the direction of Jean Pierre Bonnefoux and Patricia McBride. She continued her training within the academy for 5 years before being promoted to trainee in 2020. During her time with Charlotte Ballet, she performed roles in the Nutcracker, Little Mermaid, and Sleeping Beauty. After the 2020/2021 season as a trainee, she moved on to join Nashville Ballet as a Professional Training Division II student. During her time with Nashville Ballet, she performed featured and corps roles in Paquita, the Nutcracker, and Giselle. In 2022, Riley joined the Florida Ballet as a trainee. She has since been promoted to an apprentice, and is excited to be a part of the Florida Ballet’s company. Riley has spent summers at Charlotte Ballet, the HARID Conservatory, Nashville Ballet, and Florida Ballet.
