TRAINEE PROGRAM

The Florida Ballet Trainee Program offers talented students, ages 17-21, a well-rounded curriculum designed to prepare them for the next steps in their dance career.

The two-year program is designed for high school graduates and is an extension of The Florida Ballet’s Conservatory and Pre-Professional programs serving as a bridge between the School and the Company. Curriculum includes levels 6 and 7 of the American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum (ABT NTC) with exams at the end of each year. Trainees will also have performance opportunities working alongside The Florida Ballet’s Company dancers.

Career and audition preparation advice are provided from members of the artistic staff. Priority is given to dancers within this program for future positions within The Florida Ballet Company.
