The Florida Ballet was founded in 1978 by Laurie Picinich-Byrd and Michael Byrd as a presenting organization with the goal of becoming Northeast Florida’s professional ballet company.
The Florida Ballet’s professional Company, under the direction of Roberto Forleo, presents a season of performances featuring a mixture of classics, contemporary works and world premieres from well-known masters of ballet to internationally acclaimed choreographers.
Auditions
The Florida Ballet is looking for a male dancer with strong classical and contemporary technique for the 2024/2025 season.
Requirements: 18yo or older, minimum 5’9″ tall and must be a US citizen or have a valid work visa.
