TRAINING CENTER
From Pre-Ballet to Pre-Professional, we guide dancers every step along the way.
The Florida Ballet Training Center (FBTC) is recognized as one of Northeast Florida’s finest schools for dance education. FBTC cultivates the next generation of dancers and provides a diverse, classically based curriculum to students of all ages. While students grow in their technique and artistry, FBTC works to instill long-term appreciation for the art of ballet and the values it embodies.
THE FLORIDA BALLET’S YOUNG DANCERS DIVISION
(Ages 2-7)
The Young Dancers Division at The Florida Ballet offers age-appropriate classes to encourage a young child’s physicality, coordination, and natural instinct to move with music. Based on the American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum, the program’s overarching principles include correct posture, placement, musicality, coordination and creativity. Students in this division will have an opportunity to perform in an end of year Primary Presentation.
Required attire for this division (excluding Move with Me classes) includes a custom Florida Ballet leotard, ordered exclusively from Danzar, 9119 Merrill Rd.
