Constanza Felicio
Company Dancer
Constanza Felicio was born in São Paulo, but raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She began her training at the Escola Estadual de Dança Maria Olenewa in 2009 and continued at Lyceu School of Dance, with Lorena Boaventura. In 2019, she was offered a Trainee opportunity with Orlando Ballet where she danced alongside the main company in productions such as The Nutcracker, Victoria Morgan’s Cinderella, and others. In 2021 she joined The Florida Ballet under the direction of Roberto Forleo as an apprentice, being promoted to the main company in 2022.
During her time at The Florida Ballet, she performed many lead roles such as “Sugar Plum” and “Clara” in “The Nutcracker”, “Giselle”, “Nikiya” from “La Bayadere”, “Teresina” in Napoli, “Peasant Pas de Deux” and “Zulma” in “Giselle”, “Spring Waters” among others. She also danced “Valse Fantasie”, by George Balanchine.
In 2014 and 2015, Constanza was a finalist at the World Ballet Competition. She was selected to the YAGP NYC finals as a soloist in 2017 and won bronze medal at Seminário Internacional de Brasilia. Other works credits include “FARM, 20 years of Sun” choreographed by Cassi Abranches (Grupo Corpo’s choreographer). Currently, Constanza is an ambassador for So Danca.
