Devree Phillippi

Apprentice

Devree Phillippi is a new Apprentice with Florida Ballet. After spending two years in the company’s Trainee Program, she was promoted to Apprentice for the 2026–2027 season. She is excited to continue growing as an artist and dancer while performing alongside the company.

She began her ballet training at Barlow Arts under the direction of Jennifer Barlow. At 16, she was invited to continue her training at Ballet West, where she spent two years further developing her classical technique and artistry. She has also participated in summer intensives with School of American Ballet, Boston Ballet, Princess Grace Academy, and the Royal Ballet. Following her time at Ballet West, she auditioned for Florida Ballet and joined the company’s Trainee Program. During her two years as a Trainee, she had the opportunity to train and perform with the company, culminating in her promotion to Apprentice. Some of her favorite roles prior to joining Florida Ballet include the Sugar Plum Fairy, as well as the White and Black Swan. She looks forward to continuing to challenge herself, expand her repertoire, and grow as a professional dancer with Florida Ballet.
