Zoe Gordon
Apprentice
Zoe Gordon began her ballet training at the age of three in Atlanta, Georgia, at Dancer’s Studio Backstage. At age eight, she joined the studio’s performance company, Atlanta Dance Theatre, where she trained under Jonnie Kelley, Victoria Leigh, Lonnie Davis, and Shelley Grames. At age 15, Zoe continued her training at the Orlando Molina Ballet Training Center before moving to North Carolina to attend Cary Ballet’s Professional Training Program. During her two years at Cary Ballet, she trained under Mariaelena Ruiz and Heather Iler.
Following her graduation, Zoe moved to Jacksonville, Florida, to join The Florida Ballet’s Trainee Program. After two seasons as a trainee, she was promoted to Apprentice for the 2024–2025 season and is now in her fifth season with The Florida Ballet.
Throughout her training, Zoe has attended summer intensives with Houston Ballet and American Ballet Theatre and has competed at ADC, Youth America Grand Prix, and Universal Ballet Competition. She has had the opportunity to perform in a wide variety of classical and contemporary works and continues to develop as an artist through her work with The Florida Ballet.
